Empowering Women to Live a Sober Life They Love

Our Mission

We are a mentoring home for women struggling to find long term sobriety from drugs and alcohol.  “Nothing changes if nothing changes.”  This statement has never been more true when it comes to our recovery journey.  That’s why we have to start building a firm foundation from the ground up.  Sober Vibes focuses on obtaining a healthy recovery community, working a 12 step program, accountability, mentorship, and a relationship with God.  This may seem overwhelming, but with a household of lifelong sisterhood, what once seemed impossible is now possible!  We are here to walk you through whatever life may throw your way.

Structure and Accountability

Often times when we are new to sobriety we don’t always make the best decisions.  This is why rules and structure are put in place.  This includes but not limited to:
  • Random drug and alcohol testing
  • Making our beds first thing in the morning
  • Obtaining employment
  • Working a 12 step program
  • Attending a Christian Church of your choosing
  • Strict curfew
  • One year commitment in our home

Complacency is a Thing of the Past!

Most people find complacency a huge trigger.  This is why we want to constantly be moving forward to better ourselves!
  • Setting weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
  • Becoming a sponsor in the 12 step program
  • Attending counseling
  • Chairing meetings/ Service work

Loving Life Again

Most have struggled for years relying on substances, unable to imagine a clean and sober life.   Ladies, it’s time to start living again!  The women in our homes will go on occasional outings as a sisterhood such as bowling, going to the movies, laser tag, etc. You’ll have your ups and downs, but that’s why a loving accepting community is crucial.  We will be that shoulder to cry on when your day is rough, and be your biggest cheerleaders to celebrate your wins!

Chelsea’s Story: From Rock Bottom to a Life Restored

Meeting Chelsea today, you would never imagine that her life was once consumed by addiction. What began as experimenting with alcohol and marijuana in her teenage years quickly escalated to prescription drug abuse. As her addiction deepened, Chelsea lost the things she cherished most—including custody of her children.

With no stable home and every bridge burned, she found herself in a jail cell, facing her second felony charge. It was there that she cried out to God for help—and that moment became the turning point in her life. God began opening doors and placing people in her path who would walk with her as she began her journey out of the darkness.

Through faith, consistency, and the support of a strong recovery community, Chelsea transformed her life. She regained custody of her two sons, married the love of her life, Jeremy, and together they now own a home and live a life rooted in purpose and faith.

Sober since January 19, 2016, Chelsea has dedicated her life to offering hope to others facing addiction. “I’ve made it my mission to show people that recovery is possible and that they, too, can live a joyful, fulfilling life.”
